WVPA-BB is now a well-known branch across the globe

Staff correspondent:World Veterinary Poultry Association Bangladesh Branch (WVPA-BB) is now a well-known brach to poultry professionals across the globe. This is possible due to all active members of the organization of (WVPA-BB) those who have tirelessly given their talents and efforts.Poultry professionals and veterinarians of the country are proud for that.

Speakers those who were present at the organization's second Annual General Meeting (AGM) expressed their sincere gratitude to the previous committee of WVPA-BB.

At the beginning of the AGM, the president of the WVPA-BB, Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam gave a welcome speech. The treasurer of the organization Prpfessor Dr. Mahbub Alam presented the income and expenses of WVPA-BB. General Secretary Dr. Bishwajit Roy presented the details of the activities during their tenure and answered various questions from the members were present at the AGM.



Veterinarians were present during the question and answer session said that the country is now producing international quality poultry eggs and broiler meat, but our poultry industry has to move forward by facing various challenges. A strong linkage will be created between the Academia and the Poultry industries.

Dr. Roy informed that during the 5th WVPA Asia Meeting 2022 WVPA-BB was organized a number of technical sessions and exhibited scientific posters which were globally appreciated. This event was received a great response from poultry practitioners and veterinarians across the globe. It has been widely appreciated by poultry practitioners around the world added Dr Bishwajit.



During the question and answer session, President professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam addressed that the process of forming a strong website is ongoing on behalf of their association.

Bangladesh has achieved remarkable success in the poultry sector. Poultry Researchers, veterinarian & scientist behind these achievements have made great contributions. Now we all need to work together to make smart Bangladesh.
