Virtual seminar on Role of MSMEs in ensuring safe and nutritious foods: Existing gaps and ways forward held

Din Mohammed Dinu : The Department of Food Technology and Rural Industries (DFTRI), Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), organized a virtual consultation meeting on the "Role of MSMEs in ensuring safe and nutritious foods: Existing gaps and ways forward" on November 9, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh. Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh Agricultural University Professor Dr.EmdadulHaque Chowdhury delivered his speech as Chief Guest.

Professor Dr. Md. Zainul Abedin, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Dr. Ashek Mahfuze, National Portfolio-lead, GAIN, Bangladesh were present as Special Guests . Professor Dr. Mohammad Gulzarul Aziz, Department of Food Technology and Rural Industries, BAU, Mymensingh was spoke on Overview of the project and Professor Dr. Poly Karmoker Dept. Of Food Technology and Rural Industries BAU, Coordinated the program.

Professor Dr. Abdullah Iqbal, Department of Food Technology and Rural Industries, BAU has been presented Keynote paper and Welcome addressed by Ashfaque Kabir, Private Sector Coordinator GAIN, Bangladesh. Dr. Afzal Rahman Head, Department of Food Technology and Rural Industries, BAU, was presided over the program .
