Agrilife24.com: Nutrition Unit, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) organized "Awareness campaign on nutrition for the adolescents and establishment of nutrition corner at school" was held at Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) on 28 February 2024.
In the inaugural session, professor Dr. Md. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Vice-chancellor, SAU was present as Chief guest, while professor Dr. Shafiullah Bhuiyan, President, Teacher's Council, SAU and Professor Dr. Siddiqul Islam, Convenor , Dean Council, SAU were present as special guests. Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Director, Nutrition Unit, BARC presided over the occasion. 150 students and teachers of Ten schools of Sylhet district were present in the awareness campaign. Deans and teachers of SAU were present in the program.
Four papers related to nutrition and health were presented in the technical session. Technical session was presided by Professor Dr. Tilok Chandra Nath, Director, External affairs, SAU. Finally, a question and answer session was held.
