Agrilife24.com:ACI Seed arranged 2 Field Day Programs for Chili-Radhika, a promising variety of chili of East-West Seed. The programs were held on 12 December 2021 at Sariakandi, Bogura and on 19 December 2021 at Shajahanpur, Bogura.
Sariakandi and Shajahanpur are well-known for chili cultivation and there are more than 200 commercial nurseries here. The farmers are getting satisfactory results by cultivating Radhika during this season in different locations of Bogura. The cultivation period of the variety is from July to December. The fruit color is attractive green and fruit is 8-9 centimetres long. The fruits are very straight and glossy. The yield is 10-12 MT per acre. The farmers are getting more price than any other variety in the market due to its color, size and shape.
Mr. Yusuf Alam, Asst. Marketing Manager; Mr. Masud Rana, Marketing Officer, Mr. Rafiqul Islam, Marketing Officer of ACI Seed and Mr. Ruhul Amin, Market Development Officer of East West Seed were present in the program of Sariakandi, Bogura. More than 100 farmers and retailers participated in the program. The officials of ACI Seed discussed the characteristics and performance of the variety. The demo farmer was very pleased to get the excellent result of Radhika.

More than 80 farmers and retailers participated in the program. The participating farmers, nursery owners and retailers were very excited to see the performance and know the key information about Radhika through the program. They are committed to cultivating the variety in the next season.
