Din Mohammed Dinu:Bangladesh Agricultural University organised a Inception workshop on "Cryogenic sperm banking of Indian major carps and exotic carps for commercial seed production and brood banking" at the agriculture faculty conference Room on the BAU in Mymensingh on Saturday on 04 January 2021.
BAU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Lutful Hassan was present as chief guest in the inaugural session of the workshop where Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md .Jashimuddin Khan, Bangladesh Agricultural University research system(BAURES) Director Professor Dr. Md Abu Hadi Noor Ali Khan, Asia Regional Coordinator, Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish Dr. MG Hussain were present the occasion as the Special Guests .
Professor of department of Fisheries Biology & Genetics and Principal Investigator (USAID FtF Fish Innovation Lab) Professor Dr Md Rafiqul Islam Sarder presented the keynote speech and Professor Dr.A.K.Shakur Ahammad gave the welcome speech at the workshop. Professor Dr.M.Mamnur Rashid,Dean Faculty of Fisheries presided over the session. The Workshop organized by the Department of Fisheries Biology and Genetics, Bangladesh Agricultural University.
The occasion relevant professors, researchers, representatives from fish farm, Private Entrepreneur’s, extension workers were participants of the Workshop.
